No. Typically, Insurance doesn’t purchase portable oxygen concentrators. Insurances may pay a small rental fee for oxygen equipment only if a supplier has a Medicare or Medicaid supplier number. Inspired Portable Oxygen, the operator of this website, does not have a Medicare or Medicaid supplier number. Insurance will not pay for any medical equipment and supplies we sell to you.

The most common prescription for oxygen is 2-3 liters per minute, and the Independence delivers oxygen up to 3 LPM continuous flow. The Oxlife Independence system is only available by prescription. If you are currently using supplemental oxygen prescribed by a doctor we will work with you and your doctor to help get you the correct system.

Yes. Continuous flow oxygen delivery is recommended for use with CPAP or BiPAP devices. The Independence unit delivers up to 3 liters continuous flow. If your Rx is for a liter flow of 3LPM or less, then the Independence will work great with CPAP.
